I understand Goldengate's view on this scoop. If you have a rectalgular litter box and just want to plow through your scoopable litter, then buy a cheap plastic scoop and have at it. In my case, I have 3 Boda dome 'igloo' boxes. Ever try to scoop out a round litter box with a square scoop? Good luck with that. The round blade on this thing may be shallow, and may take a long time to clean out a box, but I'm no longer tearing the liner out of the litter box the first time I scoop it. For my set up, this is 'the right tool for the job'.
