I'd been using Arm and Hammer clay litter for years, thinking it was the only way to keep the smell from four cats to a minimum. When I moved to a smaller place with only two cats, I decided to experiment with types of litter in an attempt to reduce the smell and the mess. Found this at Target with a coupon, so I gave it a shot.Great things: * No lingering smell. There's always going to be a smell right when they eliminate, but after a few minutes it's absorbed and even my non-cat-loving husband can't complain, even if the box is in the same room! * Made of corn, meaning it's safe for my kitties. I always worried about the clay litters getting ingested, and about the amount of dust they inhaled. If it bothered me when I changed the litter, how bad was it for them? This cat litter is worth every penny!!!!As a former user of Fresh Step scoopable, I can't tell you how much better WBCL is to all traditional clay litters. The dust is pretty much nonexistant compard to the clay litters. And, my cats adapted to without any problems. Recently we switched back to Fresh Step to save money, and we are now both sick and I feel like my mouth is full of dust. So, I am running back to Worlds Best Cat litter. When it came and I saw this was the 7 pound bag I felt cheated - this is twice the price I pay at Petsmart for the same size. So five stars for the litter itself, one star for price/lb! |
