I really like this product, but would like to find a cheaper source. The information indicates this is from Golden Cat with a regular price of 120.30, sale price 31.99. Why such a difference? There are 4 pads in a pkg., so how many packages are they offering for such a cheap price? I admit I didn't go back and click through my multiple previous orders to find the 10 pack that Amazon sells direct for only $10 more.I ordered this product in a rush, thinking I was getting a great deal, and what I wound up with was a box with qty 4, that's FOUR not TEN, of the 4-pack litter pads. Major GIP, especially since I can find nowhere in the description for the production where it clearly states this is only a pack of 4 as opposed to the 10-pack which, again, only sells for $10 more on Amazon (sans shipping charges, mind you!). The product is great - it's the price from PetMeds that sucks. I have just bought exactly the same item from Walmart at just over $4 per pack, the PetMeds price is double that at $8 per pack (the $32 price is for 4 packs). How they can get away with making the claim that their $32 price is as a massive saving over the recommended price of $129 amazes me. This bears no resemblance to reality and I would expect Amazon to take better care that such false claims are not made to deceive potential customers. |
